What is JustPay?


Justpay is a financial application offered by Jamuna Bank which helps you fulfil your banking needs anywhere, anytime! This application helps you to manage your fund effortlessly. you can “See your money”, “Move your money” and “Track your Transaction” using the app. Quick, easy access to your accounts lets you track your money and stay in control of your finances. Pay utility bills and make transfers whenever you've got a moment to spare. Track account activities, monitor your transactions with our Account History function.




Who can use this app?


Only those who have a Jamuna Bank account can register & use this app.




Is there any fee to register?


No, JustPay registration is absolutely “Free”.




How to register?


JustPay registration process is quick and easy-with simple steps. You will need the following before you start to the registration process:

  1. Have a valid Bank Account with Jamuna Bank Limited
  2. Signed authorisation to open the Justpay account (Check with your nearest bank branch or call: +8801713329369)
  3. Smartphone and Data Connectivity.
  4. Download the JustPay mobile application from Google Play/ App Store
Step 1: Basic Info Write your Jamuna Bank account number and provide some basic information including name, email address sequentially as shown below- Step 2: Referral Code (Optional) Please insert referral code. However, it is optional and you can leave the field blank to skip this step. Step 3: OTP verification Enter the 6 digit OTP (One Time Password) in this field. OTP is sent to your mobile number. If you have multiple bank accounts with Jamuna bank, you have to register with one and all your bank accounts will automatically linked to your online profile. You can also manage your account via our mobile app. Step 4: Setting up user PIN Here, you need to setup a new 6 digit PIN number and you will also need to confirm the PIN. If all the information are accurate, success message will be displayed on a new screen. Click on Sign in button and it will take you to log in page. Process Flow: Bank Account Number > Mobile Number (the one registered with your bank) > Email (Optional. Although it is recommended that you provide one) > Referral Code (Optional) > One Time Password (6 Digits) > Setup PIN > Submit




How many digits are required as bank account number for registration?


User's bank account number required 14 digits for registration. In your cheque book if you find 13 digits then put ‘0’ before first digit of the bank account number. Suppose, your account number is ‘002-03XXXXX-XXX’ then you have to put additional ‘0’ before your account number on registration process. So, your account number will be ‘ 0002-03XXXXX-XXX’.




What is JustPay account activation? Why is this needed?


Though this is a financial app, we want your mobile banking more & more secure. So Jamuna bank introduce second stage verification on newly registered JustPay account manually. Activation process: After successful registration, you have to call Jamuna Bank customer care: +8801713329369 to activate his/her account. After positive verification, JustPay account will be activated.




What is the purpose of ‘BEFTN’ feature in JustPay?


The “BEFTN” is a function where JustPay users can transfer money to another bank accounts digitally in a secure way. In simple explanation, people need not to go to bank or branches to make a transaction with carrying hard cash.




What is the purpose of ‘bKash’ feature in JustPay?


The “bKash” is a function in “JustPay” which helps it’s customer to topup his/her or other’s bKash wallet. In simple explanation, people need not to go bKash agent to make cash-in operation to a bKash wallet. From JustPay, user can topup a bKash wallet using his/her bank account easy-smoothly and obviously in a secure way.





Account Management

How do I login?


In order to first time Login to the app, please do the following-

  • Step 1 - Enter circle CONNECT ID (for NRB, you have to input country code or change country flag properly) and
  • Step 2- PIN.
For all next time Logins to the app, please do the following-
  • Step 1 - You have to only input your PIN.




What are the Username and Password guidelines?


  • User Id - Your “Phone number” is your “User ID”, which can not be more or less than 11 digits can contain only numbers.
  • PIN - Your PIN must be of 6 characters in length and must contain all numbers only.




What should I do if I forget my User ID or PIN?


If you forget your User ID

  • Call support center (+8801713329369).
If you forget your PIN
  • Call support center ( +8801713329369) and then you can reset it by using system given OTP for your reset PIN request.




How can I get my pending requests and how I will deal with it?


On the “Dashboard” tab screen, there is a ‘Pending Request Activity’ counter.By clicking on that counter, app will redirect to “Request for Funds” screen. All requests are separated with two segments; Requests from ‘Other’ are listed under ‘Requested To You’ where requests which are made by you are listed under ‘Requested By You’. You can ‘Cancel’ or ‘Reject’ any requests listed on this screen.




Can I have multiple accounts number for a single JustPay account?


Yes, you can handle your multiple Jamuna Bank accounts from a single JustPay account. The account number you have given on sign up process will be treated as ‘Primary Account’ and rest of the accounts will be treated as ‘Secondary Account’. One more thing, user cannot disable primary account where this can be done for secondary accounts.





Account Statement

How can I generate or get an Account Statement within a given duration?


Please go to “Account Statement” screen, here you will be provided with an auto account statement. This account statement is generated for current month’s transactions. Now if you want to get your desired duration based account statement then you have to give the ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’; System will generate and show the account statement in descending (latest transaction will come first) ordering of transactions.





PIN

What is PIN?


PIN allows you to create a numeric 6-digit code which makes logging in faster and easier. You may enter only your PIN and phone number instead of your user name and account number to access your account. You cannot set your PIN sequential or same number. Example, ‘123456’ or ‘000000’.




What if I lost my device that has the app installed?


To protect your account, we made sure that the app will require relogging each time the user navigates away from app.





Friends & Family

What is ‘Friends & Family’?


Friends & Family’ is a management module of all financial transactions between family and friends. This function allows you to create a family group to transfer fund among the member of the group. It established a bilateral relationship between members and the account owner.




How can I add a member to my Friends & Family list?


To add a member you have to provide member’s CONNECT ID for registered user, select a relationship with that member and then add his/her as Friends & Family member.




How can I add a member to my Friends & Family list who is not registered on ‘JustPay’ yet?


To add a non-registered member, you have to provide member’s Jamuna Bank account no with phone number, select a relationship with that member and then add his/her as Friends & Family member.




Can I edit member information from my Friends & Family list?


Yes, Actually you are only permitted to modify ‘Relationship’ and disable a Friends & Family member.




Can I remove a member from my Friends & Family list?


No, you are not permitted to remove a member, but you can disable a member. Later if you want you can also enable the member.




What can I do with the member of my Friends & Family list?


You can request for fund from any member of your f&f list. Also, you can send funds to any member of your f&f list. You can also set repeat or schedule instruction on monthly basis. Process Flow:

  • Request Money: Tap on “ Request Money” tab> Select your “ account”> Enter “amount”>Select f&f member>Tap on “ Request Money” button>Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button
  • Send Money: Tap on “ Send Money” tab> Select your “ account”>Enter “ amount”>Select f&f member>Tap on “ Now” button>Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button
  • Repeat Instruction: Tap on “ Create Instruction” button>Select your “ account”>enter “ amount”>Select “ member”>Tap on “ Schedule/Repeat”>Tap on “ Repeat”>Enter “ Instruction Name”>Enter “ Start Date”>Enter “ End Date”>Enter “ Day of Transaction”>Tap on “ Confirm” button> Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button
  • Schedule Instruction: Tap on “ Create Instruction” button>Select your “ account”>enter “ amount”>Select “ member”>Tap on “ Schedule/Repeat”>Tap on “ Schedule”>Enter “ Instruction Name”>Enter “ Transaction Date”>Tap on “ Confirm” button> Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button




How can I add ‘BEFTN beneficiary’?


To add another bank account as you ‘BEFTN Beneficiary’, you have come ‘Add New Member’ screen’s ‘Other’ tab. Now firstly, you have to select ‘BEFTN’ as channel; app will be reloaded with necessary input fields. Then you have to input the rest of the information like bank/branch information, account number and phone number. By pressing ‘Add Member’ button, BEFTN beneficiary will be created.




If any user add any beneficiary with wrong information, what can he do?


JustPay does not allow to edit BEFTN beneficiary information. So, you have to add that beneficiary again with correct information.




Can I delete any BEFTN beneficiary from my Friends & Family List?


JustPay does not allow to delete any beneficiary. But beneficiary can be blocked by the JustPay user.




How can I add ‘bKash Member’ as beneficiary?


To add a bKash account as your beneficiary, you have come ‘Add New Member’ screen’s ‘Other’ tab. Now firstly, you have to select ‘bKash’ as channel; app will be reloaded with necessary input fields. Then you have to input the rest of the information like customer name, customer number and relationship information. Then you have to verify this bKash account, to do so press ‘Verify’ button. Within a few moments, you will find validate bKash wallet information. By pressing ‘Add Member’ button, bKash beneficiary will be added to your JustPay account.




Can I add multiple bKash members in JustPay?


Yes, you can add multiple bKash members in your JustPay account.




If any user add any (bKash) beneficiary with wrong information, what can he do?


First of all, nobody can add a bKash beneficiary with wrong information. After bKash bkash customer information successfully verified, then JustPay adds that customer as beneficiary.




Can I delete any bKash beneficiary from my Friends & Family List?


JustPay does not allow to delete any beneficiary. But beneficiary can be blocked by the JustPay user.





Funds availability and transfer limits

To whom I can transfer funds?


To any member of your Friends & Family list.




How can I transfer funds?


You can transfer funds in two ways:

  • Send Money
  • Request Money
Send money: From the send money sub-module under “Send & Receive Money”, you can transfer money to your f&f member. The receiver will get a push notification when fund transfer has succeeded and the transaction information will also be visible in send money History inside JustPay application.
  • Process flow: Tap on “ Send Money” tab> Select your “ account”>Enter “ amount”>Select f&f member>Tap on “ Now” button>Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button
Request Money: You will receive all fund requests from other members in “ Pending Activity” screen as well as on “Notifications & Updates” screen. You can respond to those requests and send them money. Here, send money limits will be applicable and it is not necessary for you to send exactly the amount that the receiver is requesting, you can modify the amount as your wish. We prefer to follow the idea which is, “ Your money, your way”. You can also reject a money request. You are not obligated to respond to requests.
  • Process Flow: Tap on “ Request Money” tab> Select your “ account”> Enter “ amount”>Select f&f member>Tap on “ Request Money” button>Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button
  • Request acceptance: Tap on “ Pending Request Activity” button> Tap on the “ View” button associated with that request>Select your account by tapping on the input field identified by Select Your Account>Enter Amount> Tap on “ Accept & Send Money” button>Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button
  • Request Rejection: Tap on “ Pending Request Activity” button> Tap on the “ View” button associated with that request> Tap on “ Reject” button>Enter 6 digit PIN> Tap on “ Authorize” button




What are my online transfer limits?


You have to follow the following limits for online transactions:

  • Same Bank A/C: 100 (MIN)
  • External Bank: 1000 (MIN)
  • Total Capacity per day: 200K (MAX)
  • Per Transaction: 50K (MAX)
  • Maximum number of transaction Frequency per day: 10




When can I get funds from other member?


You can receive money if any one accept your fund request. Or any one sends you fund directly.




What is the general process to BEFTN in JustPay?


First of all you have to add another bank account as ‘BEFTN Beneficiary’ and then you can send money to that beneficiary via BEFTN channel.




How can I send money to a ‘BEFTN beneficiary’?


Send money to a BEFTN beneficiary is the same way as regular JustPay send money operation. You have to come send money screen under “Send & Receive Money” module. First of all you have to select your bank account from where the money will be transferred, then you have to select your target BEFTN beneficiary from the beneficiary list. You have to select ‘BEFTN Recipient's Associated Account’ and other necessary information for the transaction in given input fields. In addition, you have to check ‘BEFTN terms & conditions’ checkbox and then need to press ‘Now’ button to execute the transaction. Within a few moments, you will get a notification for the transaction.




How much money I can send through BEFTN ?


JustPay users can send from BDT 100-250000 through a single BEFTN transaction. Also one can send money through BEFTN as many times as s/he wants.




Is there any service charge/VAT applied on BEFTN transaction?


BEFTN transaction is completely free from JustPay app.




When I get refund of failed BEFTN transaction amount?


Failed BEFTN transaction amount will be refunded on your account as per bank policy.




What is the general process to bKash topup in JustPay?


First of all, you have to add a bKash account as a beneficiary from JustPay app. After successful bKash member added, you can simply topup to that bKash member’s account following regular ‘Send Money’ operation.




How can I send money to a bKash beneficiary?


Send money to a bKash beneficiary is the same way as regular JustPay send money operation. You have to come send money screen under “Send & Receive Money” module. First of all you have to select your bank account from where the money will be transferred, then you have to select your target bKash beneficiary from the beneficiary list. You have to select ‘bKash’ as channel and other necessary information for the transaction in given input fields. Then you have to press ‘Send Now’ button to execute the transaction. Within a few moments, you will get a notification for the transaction.




How much money I can send through bKash?


JustPay users can send from BDT 50-30,000 through a single bKash transaction. Also one can send money through bKash as many times as s/he wants. But there is a following rules to follow for bKash transaction.




Is there any service charge/VAT applied on bKash transaction?


No, there is no service charge/ VAT for a bKash transaction. bKash transaction is completely free from JustPay app.




When I get refund of failed bKash transaction amount?


Failed bKash transaction amount will be refunded on your account instantly and will be reflected on your transaction history.





Transaction History

Can I see the transfer history of my account?


Yes, you can see all transaction history under history list which is separated with three histories:

  • Transaction History
  • Instruction History
  • Billing History




From where I can see my different types of transaction histories?


  • On the “Transaction History” screen, you can see all your transactions made earlier.
  • On the “Instruction History” screen, you can see all your instruction based transactions.
  • On the “Billing History” screen, you can see all your billing transactions like ‘Topup’, ‘DPDC’, ‘Titas’ within three different tabs on a same screen.




Where will I get confirmation of BEFTN transactions final status?


After a successful or failed BEFTN transaction, you will get updated via below 3 methods:

  • A push notification will be sent
  • Notification & Updates panel will be updated
  • Transaction history will be updated




Where will I get confirmation of bKash transactions final status?


After a successful or failed bKash transaction, you will get updated via below four methods:

  • A push notification will be sent to you
  • Notification & Updates panel will be updated
  • Transaction history will be updated
  • Bank’s withdrawal SMS





Instruction

What is Instruction?


It's an automatic repeat or schedule preauthorized fund transfer. User authorized system to transfer specific amount of money from selected bank account/s to selected f&f member in settings of transfer execution date and instruction type.




How to create instruction?


  • You can add an Instruction from “Send & Receive Money" > "Create Instruction” option.
  • For this, you have to select an account from where the fund will be deducted.
  • Select a specific member from family wallet to whom the fund will be transferred.
  • You can specify amount and also for “ Repeat Instruction”, give the instruction ane, set the repetition period (from the date the instruction will be initiated and till the date instruction will be valid) and save the instruction.
  • You can set “ Day of Transaction” (the date on when the instruction will be executed)
  • On the other hand, for “Schedule Instruction” you have in give an “Instruction name” and “Transaction date” and save the instruction.




Can I edit and delete an Instruction?


You cannot delete any instruction but you edit an instruction. Please note, you can not change the receiver and the start date.




How can I enable or disable an Instruction?


You can enable or disable a specific instruction inside the All Instructions tab by using the toggle button adjacent to every instruction. Process Flow: Tap on “ All Instructions” tab> Use the Toggle button adjacent to an instruction to enable/disable that instruction.




Can I make a repeat or scheduled instruction for BEFTN transaction?


No, JustPay is not allowing to do so right now. Very soon this feature will be launched.




Can I make a repeat or scheduled instruction for bKash transaction?


No, JustPay is not allowing to do so right now. Very soon this feature will be launched.





Bills and Tickets

How do I perform mobile Top-Up through JustPay?


Yes, You can perform Top-Up for both PrePaid and Postpaid numbers. For Top-Up, Please go to “Mobile TopUp” screen and then you need to provide Recipient’s Mobile Number, Account Number and Amount of transaction.




What is the purpose of ‘Electricity’ feature in JustPay?


The “Electricity” is a function in “JustPay” which helps it’s customer to pay their DPDC postpaid dues or bills. In simple explanation, people need not to go to the bank or branches to make payment for electricity. This function will make the DPDC postpaid bill payment easy-smooth and obviously in a secure way.




What is the general process to DPDC postpaid bill payment in JustPay?


First of all, you have to create an account. After successful creation of DPDC postpaid bill account, you will find your ‘total dues’ or bills for previous months including breakdown information of total bill. Then you can pay your desired amount of DPDC postpaid bill through JustPay.




Can I add multiple DPDC postpaid bill account in JustPay?


Yes, you can add multiple DPDC postpaid bill account. If you want to pay bills for other electricity bills then you can add another one.




How can I save DPDC postpaid bill account in JustPay?


From the ‘Menu/ Bills & Tickets’ screen, you will find ‘Electricity’ feature. Initially there is no added DPDC postpaid bill account, so app will be redirected to add new account screen. Here you have to select provider, input customer name, number and location code. Pressing ‘Add New Account’ button, your DPDC postpaid bill account will be successfully created.




Can I see my DPDC postpaid bill information after adding account in JustPay?


Yes, you will find your basic information such as customer name, customer ID, location code and bill information after adding a DPDC postpaid bill account.




How can I pay my DPDC dues or bills through JustPay?


When you come to electricity screen, you will find your DPDC postpaid bill information. Then pressing ‘Pay Now’ will redirect app to authorization screen. If you authorize by giving valid PIN, bill payment will be done. A successful notification will come to screen.




Is there any service charge/VAT for DPDC postpaid bill payment?


Yes, Service charge and VAT will be added for the DPDC postpaid bill amount as per policy. you will find this service charge information by pressing “Charge details”.




Does the DPDC postpaid bill payment instantly execute?


Yes, JustPay has enabled its users to pay DPDC postpaid bill instantly at anytime with only a few clicks.




Is there any restriction for the amount of DPDC postpaid bill payment?


There is no manual input field for amount. User has to have sufficient balance to pay the bill.




Where can I get Customer ID to create DPDC postpaid bill account?


You can get the customer ID in the physical copy of DPDC postpaid bill receipt. Also you can find the DPDC postpaid bill payment history as well as notifications.




How can I pay my credit card dues or bills through JustPay?


When you come to credit card screen, you will find your bill information. Now you have to select your bank account, BDT & USD (if required) bill amount to the allocated input fields. Then pressing Pay Now will redirect app to a payload screen where all the credit card bill payment information is given including service charge. If you confirm and authorize the payload, bill payment will be done. A notification related to successful payment will appear at the screen.




How can I add my credit card in JustPay?


From the ‘Menu/ Bills & Tickets’ screen, you will find ‘Credit Card’ feature. Initially there is no added credit card profile, so app will be redirected to add new credit card account screen. Here you have to input your Card number and customer ID information. Pressing ‘Add New Account’ button, the app will redirect to OTP screen where system will send an OTP to credit card holder’s mobile number. You have to input that OTP and after verification your credit card profile will be successfully created.




Can I add multiple Credit Card profiles in JustPay?


No, you cannot add multiple credit card profile at a time. If you want to pay bills for other credit cards then you have to delete your currently added credit card profile, and then add another one.




Can I add credit cards from other banks?


Unfortunately no. Only Jamuna Bank account holders can add their JBL credit card in JustPay.




Can I see my credit card information after adding the card in JustPay?


Yes, you will find your credit card’s basic information such as credit card owners name, credit card number, card limit and bill information after adding a credit card profile. Once you have added a credit card profile, this information will be shown when you enter ‘Credit Card’ screen.




Where can I get Customer ID to create credit card profile?


You can get the customer ID in an acknowledgement letter which will be in your Credit Card welcome package, else you can contact to customer care or nearest Jamuna Bank branch to collect your credit card customer ID.




What is the purpose of ‘Credit Card’ feature in JustPay?


The “Credit Card” is a function in “JustPay” which helps it’s customer to pay their credit card dues or bills. In simple explanation, people need not to go bank or branches to make payment for bills against his/her credit card. This function will make the credit card bill payment easy-smooth and obviously in a secure way.




What is the general process to Credit Card bill payment in JustPay?


First of all, you have to create a credit card profile. After successful creation of credit card profile, you will find your ‘total dues’ or bills including ‘minimum bills to pay’ information. Then you can pay your desired amount of credit card bill through JustPay.




Can I pay only BDT bill or USD bill through JustPay?


Yes, you can pay only BDT or only USD or even both in a single bill payment transaction.




Is there any restriction for the amount of credit card bill payment?


JustPay Users can pay any amount (even 1 taka) for credit card bill payment.




Is there any service charge/VAT for credit card bill payment?


Yes, Service charge and VAT will be added for the credit card bill amount as per bank policy. you will find this service charge information in payload screen.




Does the credit card bill payment instantly execute?


JustPay has enabled its users to pay credit card bill at anytime with only a few clicks. According to bank policy,

  • Credit card bill payment before 5:00 PM will reflect on statement by 8:00 PM that day.
  • Credit card bill payment after 5:00 PM or in holidays will reflect on statement by next working day.





Security and protection

Is my account and personal information secure when I log in?


Yes. Each time you log in, we will authenticate you with your user ID and PIN and your session will timeout after a period of inactivity (for mobile, 1 min).




Will Jamuna Bank ever send me an email asking for my personal information?


No, Jamuna Bank will never send you an email requesting you to reply directly in an email with any personal information such as:

  • Account numbers
  • Connect ID or PIN
  • Birth date
  • NID number etc
If you do receive a suspicious email, please call our service center immediately.





Banks & Related

How can I get a branch or ATMs on map?


Please get your desire or target branch or ATM from Branch/ ATM list (you can also perform search operation). Now press ‘Open’ button, app will redirect to map screen where you target branch/ ATM is pinned.
